I would like to introduce myself as an Artist. As a lifelong artist, I am confident in my ability to create expressive and interesting pieces based on my experience and education, I feel that I am well-suited as an artist. Art is a tool for me to show my thoughts and feelings.
Ever since I could hold a pencil, I have been creating works of art. From pencil sketches to volumetric compositions, making cardboard shoes and jewelries, I did it all. At a very early age, I knew what I wanted to do with my life. In high school, I won several awards. By the time I finished high school, I knew that my area of expertise was making sculptures and drawings. The walls of my childhood home were covered with my drawings.
During my education at Faculty of Fine Art University of Tehran I studied BA in sculpture, design, drawing, color theory, painting, and art history. Throughout study, I had two group exhibitions and a solo exhibition at the same university for a practical project called the Jelly-Fishes. My sculptures featured a wide range of materials such as wood, metal, brass, stone, fabrics, plastics, clay, wire, and much more. My favorite performance is trying with different materials and techniques. During my study I had an experience regarding jewelry designing and making, because I think jewelries are a small size of big sculptures.
After graduation from university I decided to explore different techniques and materials, so I learned how can I make shoes and bags with handmade jewelry parts. I had my own studio to create my art works, show them in group exhibitions, and sell them. Then I made a decision to continue my education, so I started to study MA in illustration at the same university. I learned book illustration, different techniques, layout, digital arts and child storytelling. I had an experience to make pop-up frames. I enjoy seeing how a movable illustrated frames can add enthusiasm to any audience. The most rewarding part of being an artist is seeing the face of the people when they see your artworks.
Thank you for your time and consideration of my introduction. I look forward to learn about new techniques and new visual software. I feel that being an Artist will allow me to utilize my wellpracticed skills to add value to the society.
Sincerely,
Farzaneh Mohamadzadeh
